Glimpses of Gowns from New York Fashion Week 2010

This time of year, there’s always a focus on fashion.  Whether you’re simply looking forward to pulling out all of your cool fall sweaters or trying to pick out dresses for your upcoming wedding, this is the season for stylish choices.  For brides, New York Fashion Week offers plenty of choices — some unexpected — to look forward to seeing in the stores this spring.

Here are a few classic looks from designer Liz Fields.  Her collection is always elegant and stylish.  Maybe you’ll be able to say “Yes!” to one of these dresses:

From her Lo-Ve-La Bridal collection, this strapless, belted gown with an asymmetrical pleated skirt is quite flattering–and affordable with a price just under $1,000!  The dresses in the background aren’t bad either.

A favorite for many at the show, this full-length gown is full of romance and is perfect for your bridesmaids.

But before you think that Fashion Week has lost it’s sizzle, let me show you some styles for the fashion-forward bride.  These couture designs from Hervé Léger positively shimmer with metallics and rhinestones and would be nice to change into for the reception.

And, these two designs from Lela Rose give the bride a much different style to wear down the aisle.

As you can see, there’s something for every bride–from the beautiful basics to the bold and the beautiful!  Take your pick!  Now, all you have to do is find the perfect bridal shoes.
