Add a bit of greenery to the plants at the center of each reception table. Plants that normally cushion a forest floor give a romantic feel to your wedding. This can work both for an indoor or outdoor reception.

Choose flowers that are dark and rich in color. While light-colored flowers work for spring, the opposite is true of fall. Plus, the color scheme can be super romantic.

Fall weddings are great for a rustic design esthetic. Adding distressed, reclaimed wood to centerpieces, whether for table numbers or vase replacements, adds that rustic feel to the reception.

If a traditional bouquet centerpiece isn’t your style, try antique wooden or metal bird cages. Fill them with fake birds, votive candles or baby’s breath. This is especially great for a vintage-inspired wedding.

A very trendy and chic way to tie in the fall season is to use branches in your wedding’s design. Branch-style centerpieces are great. You can string them with lights, tie flowers to them like leaves or leave them bare. It’s up to your imagination!

Hopefully these got your creative juices flowing to help you dream up a magnificent centerpiece for your fall wedding reception!
