There are many ways to decorate your wedding for fall. While many people stick to autumn colors, like orange, brown and a rusty, deep red, there’s another fun way to tie in the season. One of the easiest ways to incorporate leaves is to add them to your bouquet. Either ask your florist or go find some leaves yourself if you’re saving money with a DIY wedding.

At the ceremony, ask your flower girls to be leaf girls instead, sprinkling autumn leaves down the aisle to the altar.

When guests arrive at the reception, let them know the seating arrangement with a leaf at each place setting. Paint the leaf in one of your wedding’s signature colors and write the name with a calligraphy pen.

For an understated centerpiece, add some leaves to the bottom between two candle holders. Just make sure none of the dry leaves are hanging over the flame.
