If you’re planning a bachelorette party for a wine-loving bride to be, consider throwing her a vineyard bachelorette party trip with wine tastings and a tour of various wineries. Whether you’re looking to spend a day or spend a weekend, today we’re sharing some ideas for the perfect vineyard bachelorette party.

Choosing a Location

When it comes to vineyards, there are so many options – on both a local and a national level.

If you’re planning a weekend long wine tasting trip, consider traveling to an area of the country best known for their wineries – like California, Washington or Oregon. A quick flight to Napa with the bride and her best friends sounds like the perfect weekend away!

If you’re looking to stay a little closer to home, research some wineries in your area – almost every region of the country has vineyards, so finding a few to visit shouldn’t be a problem! Plan on visiting a few wineries, and hire a driver to take your party around to each location so the fun can continue between tastings.

Decor and Details

Because your bachelorette party will be traveling, you won’t be able to do too much decorating at each winery. Have a few themed decor pieces to take with you to each venue, like a few garlands to hang in areas designated for photos or a few centerpiece items for the tables.

Have a custom wine glass for each bride along with a personalized wine glass marker – she’ll keep this glass with her to use for the entire party and can have it as a keepsake once the party is over.

Plan on touring between 3 to 5 vineyards, and have a different game or activity to do at each venue. Start it off with some ice breaker games at the first venue so guests can get to know one another. Then plan yard games, wine or wedding related games, or crafting sessions at the remaining wineries. Along with tasting the different wines, these activities will keep this vineyard bachelorette party action packed and fun for everyone.

Planning Food

The menu can be pretty simple while being on the go. Lots of small bites to eat are the perfect way to keep guests grazing at each winery and will be easy to eat and transport with you on your trip.

Decide on a few different bites to eat at each vineyard. If you know the wines you’ll be tasting ahead of time, have the winery suggest some nice pairings for their wines. Mini wedge salad bites and blackberry and brie crostinis are fun and fancy mini bites that are perfect for one stop on your tour, and a charcuterie plate with a variety of meats, cheeses and crackers is perfect for another stop on your tour.

End your vineyard bachelorette party with a sunset dinner in the vineyard at the last winery you visit – something where the bride and her best friends can relax and make memories as the sun goes down.

What better way to celebrate the bride to be than with a vineyard bachelorette party? It’s the perfect way to celebrate her last few weeks as a single woman and she’ll have memories of a fun party with her best friends that she’ll keep with her forever.
