COUPLE'S SECRET WEDDING PLANS BLOWN BY MADONNA

LONDON (Reuters) - Two shy lovers planning a secret Scottish wedding had their plans blown apart when they ended up on the same "intended marriage" list as pop superstar Madonna.

Jane Tooze and Andrew Davies were planning a quiet Christmas Eve wedding at romantic Skibo Castle and then break the news afterward to friends and families.

But the couple's plans were flashed in news photographs around the world when they shared the same noticeboard with Madonna and her film director boyfriend Guy Ritchie at the Dornoch registrar's office in Scotland.

Jane Tooze told Saturday's Sun tabloid: "It now looks like we may have to make a few phone calls to family and friends beforehand ... We certainly didn't -- and don't -- want publicity."
