Well, think about it. How many blogs and articles have you read that give you tips on avoiding or reducing wedding stress? I’m pretty sure I’ve written a couple myself. There are thousands of them floating on the Web. If wedding planning were all sweetness and light, there would be no need for this information. The truth is, decision making–especially when there are so many options available in every wedding category possible–can mess with your mind, your nerves and your ability to enjoy what should be the happiest time of your life. What’s up with that?

I guess I just wanted to remind you lucky brides-to-be who are in the throes of planning a wedding that there actually are some fun things you can do to give yourself and your partners in pandemonium a moment here and there to kick back and laugh. If you’re not laughing while planning your wedding and getting married, I’m here to tell you, you’re doing it wrong!

Make Your Own Fun!

weddingtanktop.jpg If you’re going to be the bride–be the BRIDE! Let everyone know who’s in charge, but please, don’t let it go to your head and turn you into bridus horribilis. Instead of letting it go to your head, let it go to your chest on this sexy, little “It’s All About My Wedding” Tank Top. You’ll get the message across and look sensational doing it!

Brighten Up those Buds!

bottle-holders.jpg And by this, I mean your friends and your beer. Don’t get so caught up in the wedding hoopla that you can’t spare a few hours every so often to get mellow and knock one or two back with a bunch of your favorite folk in the backyard. While friends should come casual, here’s your opportunity to outfit those beer or soft-drink bottles with “Bride and Groom” Bottle Holders–a subtle reminder of what lies ahead.

Have a Fling!

Don’t worry. I’m not suggesting you sow wild oats or anything. You’re way past that (I hope!) No, I’m just suggesting that you and your fiance or bridemaids or mom and dad work off that planning pressure with some fun exercise, and what’s more fun than tossing a frisbee around on a sunny afternoon? But not just any frisbee. I’m talking a matrimonial frisbee that features a bride and groom. This frisbee is especially meaningful and fun if it feels like your wedding planning is going around in circles!

This Will “Quack” You Up!

Here’s some silly fun for those sweet romantic moments, when you and the man you’re going to marry light lots of candles, put on soft music, pour yourselves some wine or brandy and ease into a cozy bubble bath at the end of a stressful day of planning. (Come on, now. We’re all adults here.) I’m sure you’ll enjoy the company of these Bride and Groom Rubber Ducks. She looks starry-eyed and he looks terrified–just like lots of grooms-to-be. After all, it is a big step in your lives. He’ll get over it. And always remember…

“Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.”
