Is everyone in Hollywood getting married? After a slew of holiday engagements last year, it seems like celebrity weddings are a dime a dozen. From Reese Witherspoon to Nick Lachey, tying the not is definitely the “in” thing to do this year. But with such a wide spectrum of personalities on the list this year, it will be interesting to see how each wedding unfolds. Will there be another exotic wedding like Katy Perry? Or will more couples elope like Kellie Pickler, Orlando Bloom and Penelope Cruz. No matter what this year’s weddings will bring, if you could get on the guest list for any of these, which one would you pick? Of course, I’ve included my thoughts on how each wedding will be to help you decide.

Natalie Portman & Benjamin Millepied–the Black Swan beauty found love, a baby and cinematic success in the arms of the movie’s choreographer. I’m sure the wedding will be filled with dancing, even if she doesn’t leap down the aisle. No matter how she makes her grand entrance, her 4-year-old Yorkshire terrier, Whiz, is sure to be there will bells on.

Reese Witherspoon & Jim Toth–Attending weddings, going to her son’s sporting events, going to church, and spending a lot of time together, these two are probably the most down to earth couple on the list. If you pick this one you’re likely enjoy a charming family wedding.

LeAnne Rimes & Eddie Cibrian–Considering the controversy that surrounded their union, it’s good to see that things are settling down for them…literally! With her country roots, it should be a boot scootin’ good time at their wedding surround by family and friends (no ex-es, of course!)

Kate Middleton & Prince William–Who wouldn’t want to attend this wedding!? The royal wedding of the century is sure to be elegant, dignified and distinctive. If you’re looking to catch a glimpse of a modern-day princess at this fairy-tale wedding, this one is for you. (Although you’d probably have a better seat watching it on TV like the rest of us.)

Sherri Shepherd & Lamar Sally–Funny girl Sherri Shepherd gets the last laugh with a wedding to her writer beau. Although it will be a lovely wedding, I’m not sure I see this being a prim, proper, straight-lace affair (especially since he pulled her engagement ring out of a bowl of M&Ms to propose.) You’ll be in for some unexpected fun at the reception as they celebrate their love and get down on the dance floor at their windy city wedding in Chicago this August.

Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson–Word on the web is that this is going to be a scaled-down affair. Jess recently told People Magazine that she wants her upcoming wedding to be “simple.” As of the beginning of December, she hadn’t started making plans, opting to wait until the moment just “feels right.” So, you’d better scout out a last-minute plane fare deal to make it to this sure-to-be spontaneous wedding.

Crystal Harris & Hugh Hefner–Here we go again. I’ve got to give it to Hef, he definitely loves the institution of marriage. This one is sure to be a blowout party, complete with lavish decorations, a high-profile guest list and plenty of parties. Hey, even if you don’t make it to the wedding, you can snag a cocktail wedding favor at the after party!

Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard–You’ll be headed to the Motor City if you want to check out this wedding. Planning to marry in Detroit (they’re both natives), you can jam to the oldies at their Motown celebration. But, if you go, you might need to bring a wedding gift and a baby gift since they’re not waiting until they’re married to start a family. According to the interior designer they’ve already hired to transform a bedroom into a nursery…”it won’t be long.” Ahhh, young love!

Vanessa Minnillo & Nick Lachey–Hinting about a Tuscany wedding for New Year’s, alas it didn’t happen for them over the holiday. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be in for an Italian wedding with this couple. Same destination, different date I say.

Well, there you have it…a glimpse into each of these couples and their “wedding plans.” I have to say that the one I’d most like to attend would be…(I’ll let you know when I receive the invite :-))
