Pantone, the authority in all things color, named Tangerine Tango the color of the year for 2012.

Tangerine Tango is a vibrant, deep and saturated orange. You may be saying to yourself, “how the heck could that be incorporated into my wedding beauty?”

Colorful sashes are a great way to add the wedding’s theme color into the wedding dress. It’ll give a little pop of Tangerine Tango that no one can ignore.

If you’re not a sash kind of girl, bring Tangerine Tango to your shoes. As you sashay down the aisle or dance the night away at the reception, the color will peek out with every step.

And, if you want to incorporate the color more, dress the groom and groomsmen in Tangerine Tango ties, vests or boutonnieres.

Don’t forget about your bridesmaids! They can rock this color, too.

If you’re scared of going all out on the Tangerine Tango, mix it with another color. For instance, pink goes really well with orange. Add pink into the mix in your bouquet, decorations and accessories.

Other ways to incorporate Tangerine Tango into your wedding:

  • Add a swath of tangerine eye shadow into your bridal beauty routine for the big day.
  • Choose tangerine wedding invitations to start the tango early.
  • Include fresh tangerine-colored flowers to your reception table centerpieces.
  • Decorate the aisle with sashes of bright orange.
