Longer daylight hours, better weather and the open air make this the season of outdoor weddings. However, you do have to prepare for an outside ceremony or reception. You don’t want heat and humidity to affect the fun, do you? Here are some things to consider when planning your summer soiree:

1. To keep guests cool in the heat, provide parasols for guests to share. Place them in a pretty basket before they enter the area so they don’t have to get up for one later.

2. Place bottled water in plain sight at the reception to keep everyone hydrated in the heat. You can even customize the labels on this version.

3. Keep beer and soda cold with koozies. They double as favors, too!

4. Sunscreen can be messy to apply, so leave out a few discreet sticks of SPF for guests to grab. They’ll thank you for it later!
