If you live in an area of the country where winters get cold, it can be difficult to plan a winter bachelorette party. Today we’re sharing 9 ideas for a cozy cabin bachelorette party that will be a weekend the bride to be will remember forever.

Choosing Your Location

When in doubt, head north!

A Northwoods bachelorette party is the perfect cure for the winter blues. Find a location in the woods near you or choose a place in the northern part of the country to stay.

Check a vacation rental site to find a cabin or lodge large enough to fit your group. Make sure it has all of the cozy must-haves you want during your stay. Choose a place that has a fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, lots of room for chick flick watching and hot cocoa bar set ups.

Once you find the perfect rental, the fun part of planning begins!

Cozy Decor

As soon as you get into your cozy cabin, figure out your sleeping arrangements and start decorating the space! Just because you’re out of town doesn’t mean you can’t set up fun decorations for the bride.

An olive branch wreath looks lovely and inviting on the front door of your cabin. Bachelorette banners and flannel garlands look beautiful and festive hanging above the fireplace. Also, adorable wood slices are perfect for creating a pretty centerpiece on the table.

You’re spending the weekend in your cabin – have some fun with the decor while you’re there!

Devine Drink Stations

You’ll be spending a whole weekend doing all sorts of outdoorsy and cabin-inspired activities, make sure you stay hydrated and have drinks that will keep you warm!

Set up a hot cocoa bar in one area of the kitchen. Complete with a cute banner and every garnish or mixer you can think of; this will be a lifesaver when you’re craving something warm and sweet.

You could also set up a DIY Moscow Mule station with apple cider, cinnamon sticks, ginger beer and other mixers to make your own custom drinks.

And don’t forget the coffee and water! Make sure you have plenty for everyone to drink while you’re on your cabin bachelorette getaway.

Matchy Matchy Gifts

Bachelorette parties are more fun when everyone is matching! If you’re planning the bachelorette party, include some fun gifts for each guest and make sure you take photos of everyone wearing them!

If you’re going to be doing lots of outdoor activities, give each girl a cozy knit hat with a fluffy pom on top. When you’re out and about outside, you can all wear them and everyone will know you’re celebrating the bride to be!

For chilly nights, get each girl a buffalo plaid flannel shirt! Not only will they make for adorable photos, but they’ll also be warm enough to get you through the cold nights.

A cabin bachelorette party seems like the perfect winter getaway with your girls to celebrate the bride to be. Choose a location, pack your bags and stay in for a weekend of fun!
