In the coordinated chaos that is wedding planning, it’s easy to lose yourself—and your overall health. Eliminating stress (see Tip #1) goes a long way in keeping you mentally balanced and energetic. We imagine you’re probably dieting and exercising to 1) make sure you fit into your gown and 2) guarantee you look your absolute best on that day of days. Ultimately, your goal should be to stay mentally and physically balanced.
Focus on a sensible diet and an achievable exercise regimen. Skipping meals or fasting may help you with quick weight loss, but it may be at the expense of your health. Instead of the beautiful bride you aspire to be, you just might walk (or crawl) down the aisle with weak, brittle nails, sallow skin and thinner hair.
Sleep is important, too, for avoiding dark circles under your eyes and a lack of energy just when you need it most. And stay hydrated! Keep all this in mind as you navigate these last few months.

Eleventh-Hour Beauty Tips
Quick Fixes for Zits: If you have time—and you so want that blemish gone—celebrity dermatologist Dr. Patricia Wexler M.D. recommends heading to your dermatologist for a cortisone injection. But if it's the eleventh hour, apply an over-the-counter product that contains either benzoyl peroxide or cortisone to help calm the redness. Once you've done everything you can to shrink the pimple, hide what’s left with a good concealer.
Reduce Puffy Eyes: Drink plenty of water. If you can, sleep with your head elevated. If you still wake up on the morning of with bags, place a cold tea bag (caffeinated works best) on each eye to quickly reduce the puff. Another option is to use an under-eye cream that contains concentrated yeast or cucumber extract.
Reduce Redness: Fill a bowl with a mixture that's half milk and half ice water. Dip a washcloth in it, and then use it as a compress to help your skin calm down. When you're actually getting made up, use a yellow-based powder to counteract and color correct.
Eliminate Chapped Lips: To really combat chapping and cracking, do a gentle exfoliation to remove the major flakes—rub your lips gently using a dry toothbrush—then follow up with some TLC. Apply an occlusive ointment, such as Vaseline, to seal in moisture and reduce dryness and cracking,
