Banish Blackheads for Good

Suffer from blackheads? We know the feeling. Trapped dirt in your pores is frustrating to say the least, but with the right products and prep work, you can minimize (and hopefully eliminate) blackheads once and for all. Check out the 3 products you need to cleanse, treat and prevent future breakouts.

1. Cleanse.

A good scrub loosens dirt and dead skin sells and helps keep skin clear. This one with salicylic acid also helps treat pimples as well, so you can treat two of the most common skin ailments at the same time.

2. Mask.

A heavier duty version of your usual cleanser can do wonders for your skin. Twice a week (too often can dry out or irritate your face and even make the problem worse) slather on a deep-cleansing mask to keep skin in check and keep future issues at bay.

3. Quick Fix.

Your nose is prime blackhead location, so keeping that area clear can require some extra prep work. Luckily, sticky pore strips that literally rip the dirt out of your skin are a quick, painless way to clear pores STAT when you’re getting ready for a big night out. Wash your face and, keeping your nose wet, apply a strip. Keep on for 10-15 minutes and then gently pull up from both sides of the strip, working toward the middle of the nose. Apply a redness-reducing moisturizer to keep irritating down and you’re ready to continue with your regular makeup routine.
